Looks good as is -- only needs a darker roof.

I think it looks pretty good too. I would change the lights near the garage doors to something black and a bit heavier looking.

something along these lines. get bigger address numbers and put them above the door where the arch is.

if you do repaint, maybe do the doors in this shade instead of the dark brown. continuing the stone work across the double garage, like it is on the smaller one, would make things look a bit better.

here are some color combos

Variation on what Beth suggested, but I think the two tone sage along with the cedar color garage doors and new lighting, as Beth also suggested, is just the ticket. Your roof would work well with these tones as well. I would move away from the browns. I would also suggest a good trimming to the purple plum in front (not sure if that is correct species) and the tall green one in the far right corner of the house. That needs to be reduced by about 1/3 its size to keep it compact and not lanky. Nice home and this update will make it really even nicer!

I like the sage idea too.

I would still like to see the stone work carried through onto the other garage. maybe do the wood garage doors. home above is gorgeous.

Thank you all for the ideas and feedback. I'm loving all the color ideas. The photo of the green house is gorgeous. We have off-white/tan windows...do you think that would still look ok?
-The light fixtures will be changed for sure - like the ones suggested.
-the rock-work is around the front door too (see photo). Not sure it's in the budget to put it around the garage door, but I'll look into it.
- the green tree on the far right has been removed. The purple tree - I agree it needs to be trimmed or removed, but it provides the only shade for our westerly facing house.

We just used SW Intellectual Grey for the body and SW Anonymous for the trim....greys with green undertones and it looks fabulous!
