NC State Fair.

Man this year is flying by, won't be long until the NC. Fair will be here. always my favorite place is the garden area, love checking it out. main reason for going except for the food.

I don't know that there is garden section too in the state fair. I sure will attend this year.

I didn't get to go last year but unless they have done away with it. they should have one, it is down near the village of yesteryear.

I went to South Carolina state fair almost 5-6 year ago. I can't go to North Carolina state fair as it's far away from Charlotte. I will go to South Carolina state fair this year.

To help people from Charlotte come to the state fair in Raleigh, the Amtrak train service sets up a temporary train station across the street from the fair. You can ride the morning train in and the evening train home and spend the day at the fair. Keep in mind that the corner where the train station is set up is the furthest corner from the Flower and Garden Show.

It is worth the walk from the furthest point of the fair grounds especially if you are going to spend the day.
