My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What did you use to join the beams to the house and the beams to each other that makes it look so seamless?

    The beams are connected to the house by a ledger (sp?) board, then fastened to the posts at the end of the patio.

    It's fiberglass sheeting. It's at Lowes and Home Depot and also comes in opaque colors.

    We offer polycarbonate sheets (very similar to, but better than fiberglass) in several tints on our website: http://www.postframeaccessories.com/polycarbonate.html. It is highly impact resistant and won't yellow overtime unlike fiberglass sheets which are similar but less expensive.
