Hi. We are building a home and are starting to research windows. The place our contractor recommended suggested Jeld Wen vinyl windows. After reading a ton of negative reviews about the company and some of their windows, I am not sure this is a good way to go. Does anyone know if there have been issues specifically with new construction windows, or is it when people are using them as replacement windows that causes issues? Also, I see that some better mid-tier options may be Simonton, Okna, Softlite, Sunrise, and a few others. Is there anyone company that is leading the pack today (most reviews/posts I have been reading are several years old). Thanks in advance!!
