I imagine you have made your selections by now, but I'm going to throw a few thoughts your way.

If your outside fireplace is uncovered, I'd suggest a precast masonry unit like an Isokern, Mason-Lite or FireRock instead of a stainless steel box. The sheet metal box will only last so long and be a pain to fix/replace, the masonry ones should last longer than any of us will care about. You can get way a bigger unit than the Castlewood in a precast masonry fireplace.

I'd avoid the powervent if you can. Even without the noise, it's just more stuff to go wrong and you won't be able to use the fireplace if the power goes out.

Are you in Canada? The Bellfires products are great, but I would be careful to make sure that the products you select are legal for installation where you are. If you are in the US, I would suggest some other options.

The most realistic electric fireplace IMHO is the Dimplex Opti-V. Get the small one, though.
