Thank you! Yes, we definitely plan on making the white trim heavier. And we loved the cedar when it was new, and would love to be able to power wash and restore the natural look. However we have been told that it would not last, even if we put a sealer on it. And the picture of the house you posted is gorgeous!

great home! yes, power wash and clean to get it back to natural. then do a natural stain and quality UV protectant sealer. the sealer may have to be applied every few years, but totally worth it to keep it looking like this:

I love natural cedar w/black trim. you could do the inner trim black and then do your larger white trim for contrast, But I'd forgo the white and opt for the black. it's amazing looking

even a dark gray w/stone work looks great

and if you could do a metal roof over the garden window in something like a patina copper, it would look soooooo good w/the natural cedar and black. love your house!
