Dual bay windows on a Cape Cod?

Replacing the bow window on the left of this photo (will do the one on the right next year).

We like modern & craftsman styles, and based on your feedback a few months ago decided against replacing the bow with another bow.

Your thoughts on a bay window? (1:2:1, casement on the ends)

And whether the bow window on the right should be a matching bay? Or flat? 1:2:1 or 1:1:1? Something entirely different?

This is not a Cape Cod style home. It's a lovely home, but that is not the style of this home. It's closer to a contemporary ranch that grew a second floor with dormers.

No bow, no bay, replace with casement windows that are in line with the face of the home.

Get rid of any blue and begin working with the colors you find in your brick. White, Gray, Black and perhaps the red.

Thank you! Sounds like flat windows are the way to go...might try for a bay in the back instead. We plan on repainting in the short term and potentially re-siding longer term (ideas welcome!). Shed dormers will probably stay.

Agree with BeverlyFLADeziner. It's not a Cape Cod. The mere presence of dormers is not sufficient to call it a Cape. And the bow windows should be replaced with flat windows.
