My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Where can I buy the licorice patina?
You mentioned you apply with a brush. Do you apply it and immediately remove it to get the effect?

    white painted cabinets are pretty cheap so i wanted to glaze them to make them look old. what do I use and how do I do it? thanks for any help!

    Hello Sissy & Pamela,

    We are a custom cabinet manufacturer and make our finishes for specialty enhancements in-house. Our multi-step finish process includes priming the wood to get it smooth, sanding, 2 coats of painted material, sanding, 2 coats of clear conversion varnish, sanding, continually brushing on the patina until we get the effect we want, drying, adding a seal coat to seal in the patina, sanding and then applying the final top coat.
