I'm afraid of bold color! I like neutrals, gray and more monotone. Any thoughts?

I vote for aqua & coral as well. Subtle, not Miami Dolphins aqua & coral.

Medium brown columns Aqua door and Sherwin Williams 6149 or 6150 on the shutters would be my choice.

I have relaxed khaki in my bathroom. It's pretty but I don't think it's pretty enough for bahama shutters. These aren't bold-they're very muted. The coral almost reads beige. SW Koral Kicks

Here are the colors the shutters come in. I color matched the ones I think would look good on your house and the coordinating colors are the two lighter ones. You could paint the columns the light gray and the door the light aqua. Then go a little darker with shutters

If you want more basic colors, go with the pewter color shutters, gossamer veil for the columns and the dark grey for the door

You have a nice house. Some fuscia bougainvillea would look great with it .

Just a word of caution also, the evergreen in the center of your house is going to get big. I would suggest planting it off from the right hand corner of the house at least ten foot away. Then do a curved bed to incorporate it going across the front.

Question- I bought two long black lanterns for side of large window, I want to stain the cypress columns and then stain or paint the shutters. The shutters are bahama that cover the window and then I would paint the door.

Does anyone have any idea about what color stain is somewhat warm brown but not charwood or chestnut by sherwain Williams? I like a simple, crisp, clean look. I am attaching a picture and I love the stain on the doors. Any ideas?

Try this product from Home Depot in semi transparent chocolate. It is very easy to use, it will waterproof your columns and is water cleanup There are other colors available. Make a sample board and add coats to achieve desired color. Relaxed khaki de 6149 is on the hand rails.
