Below are some pictures of the finished kitchen. Thanks to all of you for helping out with a lot of decision making. I learned a lot through the whole process and will be happy to answer any questions.

Cabinets: IKEA (Grimslov fronts)
Countertop: Silestone Altair (Quartz)
Flooring: Arizona Tile Savannah Dust (Porcelain)

It looks great! We are planning our second IKEA kitchenfor our new house. For our condo we did laxarby black brown cabinets and fantasy brown quartzite. For our new house we are doing bodbyn off white cabinets, symphony gray quartz and a floor very similar in color and appearance to yours!

What cabinet did you use for the microwave? I'd resigned myself to a countertop microwave as our tiny kitchen has no space for tall cabinets for a built in. Is it just an upper with no door on the bottom half?

@rantontoo, the cabinet to the right of the fridge is a pantry cabinet. There are 3 drawers behind the top door also, which makes it easy to access items in the back.

Yep, it's a 24" w x 40" h upper cabinet. It has a 20" door on top, and the bottom 20" is open.

The microwave is a LG LMC0975ST. It fits nicely in the cabinet.

Great job, it looks amazing. I'm curious about the window. Is it a garden window? It looks really large. Looks like you have my dishwasher, do you like it?

The window juts out of the kitchen, into the backyard. It's about 5-6 feet wide.

The dishwasher is a Bosch 800. Yes, we like it. It's much quieter, more configurable then the previous dishwasher we had.

How did you fasten the peninsula cabinets to the floor? Sis you use Ikea's island Fixa pieces??

If I am not mistaken, the contractor made a frame out of 2x4's for the peninsula base.

What type of cabinet is in the corner next to the sink base?

@czarinalex, to the right of the sink is the the SEKTION Corner Base cabinet with organizer

To the left of the sink is a 24" cabinet that's facing outwards, with it's back against the sink cabinet. So that cabinet opens up on the patio door side. There's a filler pieces on the left of the sink cabinet.
