need help for my leveled living room

Those are the pictures I took for the entrance and the leveled sitting
one other picture for the corridor in front of the sitting area that wall is where the open kitchen is going to be placed
and the last one is to give you an overview of how the entrance with the kitchen which start from the wall with the intercom to the wall with the corridor and the leveled sitting area in front of the kitchen
at the end I hope that was clear enough

I'm sorry - what is your question?
I need an idea of what i can do for the edge of the high leveled living area (the one in the picture with on top the boxes of ceramics
    thanks

Is this going to be just a sitting area with pillows on the floor? It doesn't look tall enough to stand up in. But, to your question, you will certainly have to put in some steps leading up to it. You could carpet the whole thing, steps and all. Or, since it looks like you may live in a warm climate, tile it to match your flooring.

Unfortunately your request is still not very clear. Is your question only about the very front of the raised area?

How do you plan on using this living room? Floor cushions? What are the activities in this room?

thanks to you all for your beautiful ideas I like them all but I am first thinking about the very front of this area its a sitting area with some glaze steps and lightened from underneath
but my priority now is what do I put on the edges to make it safe especially for the children
hope that you understand and then come the ideas for the furniture and the cushions etc....

I like your suggestions a lot
but what if i choose to put some small plants or flowers with the railing and how it will look ?
I mean is it a good idea or not and if yes please I need some pictures
    thanks a lot Simone

I honestly wouldn't put any plants or flowers by the railing being that they need sunlight and all. Also, if you are going for a clean modern "look," the plants or flowers would take away from that. If you did want to still incorporate some type of greenery (artificial or real), you should put them by the back windows in the corner.

You can place the plants in front of the railing suggested by 'Simone'. The visual of the railing will soften and the children will not be able to knock down the plants from the interior of the raised level space. You would need to place the installation of the railing to accomodate enough space for the plants or any other decorative elements that you prefer.
