Want to do thos pond right !!

We had a kiddie pool for a few years and my daughter was never really in to it . So i used it to dump our silty Florida soil in . When i transplanted my roses . (Wich needed ammened soil) well after a big rain storm it filled with rain and looked very nice . It was filled with tadpoles and mosquito larve so i bought gold fish .they cleared it up nicely . But then the water turned nasty greem and i got some plants to filter it out.

After all this work i decided i want a real planned out pond !!!

So i went a bought a 125 gallon prefab liner a pump and filter and some stuff to make a water fall .

Question is how do i move the fish ?

I plan to dig the pond and set it all up next weekend .

Do i fill it up then transplant the plants . Wait a week and then move the fish ?

Should i take some of the water from the nasty pond and mix it with the new water ?

I also want to add a small turtle?

Any advice on turtles

water clarity sux

taken after the new plants had just been planted so the bottom was disturbed and nasty .
