First flower arrangement

I used the Green Romantica roses in my first arrangement from strange things in my garden. My grandmother gave me this vase she got in Italy and I haven't had the chance to use it till now. I have been inspired by this rose and others' flower arrangements. I warned y'all I was gonna clip em lol!

I thought I would list the flowers in the vase too in case anyone is wondering.

That is a beautiful arrangement. I love the Green Romantica roses with the Kent Beauty Oregano. I've never seen ornamental oregano before, but somehow it looked familiar. When I looked it up, I remembered. It reminds me of hops flowers.

I am impressed. That is a great arrangement with Green Romantica. The dark calla lilies are very shapely and dramatic on top and I like the addition of the pods.

Thanks Lisa! Coming from you that means a lot because your arrangements are always so lovely. This is my first time growing that oregano and it has been carefree so far. I have it placed in a pot with an eden climbing rose. I know what you mean by hard to find though with the Green Romantica rose, because I saw that rose online a year ago. I believe I seen it on Heirloom's site but it was always out of stock. I had been looking for it forever it seemed. I just like odd flowers and unique colors so I had to have it! Glad it's not so high maintenance like the tag said it was.

jasminerose4u thank you! I agree the oregano does look like hops, Neat!

Hi Justin thanks so much. I absolutely love the poppy pods and have always been so nervous to grow them thinking the neighbors might start giving me side eye hehe, and also because of the bad reputation they get. This year I just snuck them behind a bush in a pot lol! I like the seeds for baking poppyseed bread. Now I have found another use for them ha

Wow thank you Lilyfinch! That's an encouraging compliment for my first go round! Yay!

I really like the combo of Kent Beauty oregano and Green Romantica. I have a feeling you will be using that combination quite a few times in the future. How long does Kent beauty oregano seem to last in the vase?

Wow thank you all so much; it's very encouraging!

Cori Anne the oregano has been looking the exact same as when I placed it in the vase even the pieces that aren't in water and just tucked in between the roses. Very surprising they do so well like that and I do have a feeling I will be using it in my more arrangements as well. Good call!
