My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

This is an absolutely gorgeous detail!! What material is your stair guardrail wall? Looks like acrylic solid surface?

    Glad you like it. It is white-painted 1/4" steel plate. Because this house had to conform to the foundations of a previous, quite small house, every inch was important and this thin, strong material took less space than an standard stud wall. Although you might get a similar look with solid surfacing, it wouldn't have the structural integrity needed for this use.
