I would wall mount the TV. Do you need cable box or will you use something like a Roku? I would not get a TV cabinet for the bedroom. If you are using a Roku or Apple TV, they can be mounted on the back of the TV. Will you add a soundbar to the TV? I find that modern TVs have terrible built in speakers.

Make sure you hang it at the correct height. I actually sat up in my bed (which is pretty high) and had my husband hold a piece of cardboard at the correct viewing height.
