My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Can the dawn to dusk be turned off?

    Thank for your interest in our Hardware House outdoor lighting. The light can only be turned off if you wire the light directly into a light switch but by doing that you will lose the "dawn to dusk" feature.

      Can the light be used on a on off switch AND be a motion detecting light? Why does wiring it in cancel out the motion detector?

      Our fixture is not made to be able to do both functions; on/off switch and dusk to dawn. It has to installed to do one or the other. This light fixture does not have a motion detecting feature it only has the dusk to dawn photo cell.

      It says the light is LED, on the picture it seems like a regular bulb. Can I use any type of bulb?

      If you are wiring the fixture so you can use the photo cell then do not use an LED bulb. The LED bulb will burn out the photo cell. However, if you wire the light to be controlled by a light switch (not the photo cell) then you can use an LED bulb.
