I had a split system air conditioner installed in my 1928 home about 6 weeks ago. This last week I have a funny smell in my house. At first it smelled like burnt garlic and will not go away. I cleaned out the fridge scrubbed the floors and threw out some plants. I finally turned off the unit and the smell seems to be disappearing.
