Have a home in Palm Springs that currently has 5 ficus trees (15 years old) providing great shade to our pool and good sound barrier from car noise from street. Unfortunately the trees seem to have a fungus and loosing their leaves. Looking for a replacement Hedge / Trees. Worried to re-plant ficus as the pool is only 15 feet away. Any Ideas for Trees or another hedge ?
