How to care for a lacquer finished dining room table

I recently purchased a lacquer matte finished acacia dining room table. The care instruction says to dust with a dry cloth. We plan on using it everyday. Is there anything special I have to do to keep it looking good and protecting it? I use to paste wax my former solid maple table which did an excellent job protecting it for decades. Thank you.

No, I never received a reply. Thanks for asking. We use this table every day and it still looks like new. I’m really happy with it. I use placemats, and trivets to protect it while using.

To care for it I either dust it (no polish or wax) or damp wipe then dry. I do wipe drips or spills immediately. Basic, effortless care.
