We're getting a new kitchen in with light grey shaker style units running along one 7 meter (23 foot) wall with an island painted navy. The room is 7x5m (23x16.5ft) in size with one wall having a 3.4m (11ft) door and window assembly 2.3m (7.5ft) high. There's two good sized Velux windows letting light into the room also so lots of natural light coming in. The room is North facing.

Can anyone advise on floor colour? We're really struggling to pick something we like! We're going to go with a tile as it's a kitchen area but open to all suggestions from the good folk in Houzz!!
