sorry, but that's deff rot :/ i'd start chopping and see what you can salvage

I wouldn't chop it up yet I see two little roots I think it's okay...def be careful with watering it will be easy to over water it right now because the roots are so tiny and they can't absorb much water.

Gabby, I see the roots too, I'd guess k8 does also, but don't you see the rot central to the stem? That's gonna be a goner & several nice little roots won't be able to change that.

One has to chop it if there's any hope to stop the spread of the rot. Chop it back until you find stem that isn't rotting.

I have just a few leaves left.. I think I know what I did to cause it to rot..I just recently got liners for my shelves and I quickly watered it before going to bed and with the liners it kinda prevents drainage. So I need to be more careful in allowing it to drain before going back on the shelf
