I do a variety of crafts which include sewing, painting wooden cutouts and need a station for my card ministry( I don't make the cards but send them out for the sick in church). I want to be able to shut up most of it behind doors to keep it neat when I am not working on something.

I love IKEA's Alex drawers for a craft studio. The shallow and wide shape is perfect for organizing paper work.

I've found THESE covered plastic containers to be perfect for card storage. If you prefer an open holder THIS may work better for you.
