he will be TEN months old on 9/8!!

He is growing up so fast. He is adorable and looks like he will be a dog lover for sure. Eden's interest is to touching. Sweet! I hope Gabe gets to visit again soon. It's nice to see them all just hanging out together. :)

the resemblance is simply uncanny!! john hears this all the time! here are a couple of pictures, john and gabe were about the same age. i ran across this baby picture of john when i was going through photobucket recently. i had to do a double take! LOL

thanks, everyone! gabe is such a joy. i've heard it said that you don't think you can love anything as much as you love your child until you have a grandchild. i'm finding this to be so true!! :)

the regulars here all know about jorah being the newest (almost a year now!) member of the dane gang but i bet you won't recognize gabriel! he turned 2 last november and he's growing up much too fast! thought you might enjoy some updated pics. :)

He looks so contented---must be an exception to the "terrible twos!"

thanks, ladies! LOL, he's definitely had his "terrible twos" moments but they are few and far between and usually occur when he's overly tired. although i miss the cuddly little guy who used to take long naps on my lap, this is my favorite age. he talks non-stop and is very inquisitive about everything from why does daddy need to mow the grass to belly buttons. haha!

their entire 2+ acres is fenced with chain link. several weeks ago, they had a doe birth a fawn under a pine tree in the yard, INSIDE the fence. momma comes to nurse and care for it and then jumps back out till it's time for it to nurse again. gabe loves watching it in the yard. it is so used to seeing them, it will wander around at one end while john and gabe play at the other end. not sure how old it will be before it is able to jump the fence and join momma.

in all the wisdom of a 2 year old, gabe named it "spot". LOL
