So our painters arrived today and took down the shutters.... and I think I like my house without them! We are back and forth between painting the house white or light grey ( not a fan of the current blue so when it started peeling off I jumped at the chance to change the color).

I say if we go grey, we put the shutters back ... a lighter more muted grey than the current black. BUT if we go with white, I think I will leave the shutters off...

What do you all think? We live by the beach. :-)
