Your place looks nice, however updating the appliances to black to unify the space and a rug. I would not invest in bar stools however you could paint the existing ones as to break up all the wood.

Clean, clean, clean & price it accordingly. Let the new owner "update " to their taste, impossible to predict what will appeal to imaginary house hunters. My neighbors demolished & remodeled a kitchen that had been completely remodeled two years before the sale! Yes, the only thing would be to update to stainless steel appliances. Otherwise the new owners will redo it anyway.

Ask a realtor. In my area, white appliances are fine and sometimes preferred with oak. In my area - with the newer counters - this would be a nice and already refreshed kitchen. Absolutely no cool gray floor - it is trendy and cool grays do not work well with warm wood tones. I know lots of people who dislike stainless appliances. Price appropriately and this home will sell fine.
