Is that a laundry tub next to the washer? Couldn't that be placed in the center under the window? That's where mine is, with nice window coverings. A folding table nearby with basket/hamper storage underneath? My mud room is similar. We especially like our large slotted boot rack for wet outdoor footwear and have electric boot dryers there. This is also a great location for an open closet scheme to keep outdoor clothing dry. We keep our snowshoes hung on the wall.....but some folks don't. :-)

If possible, you could move the washer and dryer on the right wall and have cabinets above. If you are going to have a counter on top of those machines it could be used as an ironing/gift wrapping station as well. If not, create a counter that runs along the wall under the window as an ironing station, giving you a nice view of the front yard while you iron and fold your clothes! You could also create a window seat under the window for putting shoes on.

The left wall could have hooks at the top for coats and cubbies and baskets at the bottom for shoe storage.

Where are you placing the vent to the dryer? Will this be a ventless dryer. There are limits to how long a vent can be, or you'll need an inline exhaust fan to keep the dryer well vented.
