Living room floor plan help

Hi I'm buying a new couch and I'm debating what side to have the chaise go on, which is attached to the Couch. The left or right? Attached is my current set up...still a lot of work to do with paint, new flooring, etc the opposite side of the chaise I will get an accent chair . The last picture is the new couch I am getting
