After all yall help I went put and found some August Moon. They seem to be selected as good warm weather variety and I love the color. Sure they are from HD, but for $5 each I'll try them out. I spaced them 3ft apart and they look great to me. The rest of the bed has a lot to get done this fall but this is a start. (The hydrangea om the left is moving too)

I started looking at some coral bells to compliment thrm.. but I'm not sure I like any yet. Yall got any suggestions for something shade tolerant to go in between the hostas and the crepe myrtle?

And one of the Patriots that I moved to the back. If these don't come back I won't be as mad. But they look good with the darkness.

You are willing to take the gamble that they could be virused. Odds are that they are OK, but I hope you are aware that you cannot replant hostas in the same spot if they have HVX. You must have a lot of space to play with. Good Luck and I hope they do well for you.

How long will my August Moon take to reach full size (apprx 40" it says online) ?

I wouldn't expect much of an increase in overall size until year after next -sleep, creep, leap- and from there time will tell. Having said that, Ken's comments are that it's slow-growing.....

I've got 2 'August Moon' plants that I've had for 3 1/2 years. The smaller one is 20" across and the bigger one is 30" across. Hostas rarely get as big for me as the ones I see in pictures from Ohio, Michigan, etc.

I updated your Heuchera thread with some pictures BTW.
