My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

      Why would you give up the extra usable space to create a pedestal base on the island?

      the island appears lighter because there is not as much cabinets at the floor

      I like the floating island look. I might even incorporate a vac system in the base for catching the bits a that are always on the kitchen floor. Plus, having a kick space is never a bad idea.
