I am trying to balance the open spacious feels and having a low profile book case behind the sectional to hide the 'gaps' of the reclining feature. It's in a setting of open concept family-dinning-kitchen..

Would this West elm Enzo bookcase/ end table go behind my sofa?

Currently I have little over 5 feet of space between the back of my sofa and the dinning chairs.

I am assuming this 12 inch deep bookcase does not make it space less spacious.

What do you think??
