try and remove as much glue as you can and then prime

I removed all of the wallpaper glue. I then had to go over all the sheetrock with a spackling paste to make the sheetrock smooth enough to paint. What kind of primer do you suggest, that will cover the spackle paste so it won't show through the paint. Thank you for your help!

Use bin 123 sand walls before primer

Rockin' Fine Finish, what kind of paint would you recommend to paint kitchen cabinets? I have painted them before by taking them down to the raw wood. I used a primer on them and then painted them white with a latex enamel from Behr. Over the years the paint has worn off around the handles. I bought a paint and primer in one from Behr, but you really need to put 3 coats for it to cover goodI Due to age and health I want something that is going to last. How would you recommend I do them, and what brand of paint should I use. Thank you in advance for your help.

I would clean them with tsp and if the finish isn't peeling scuff sand the cabinets and use Benjamin moores advanced

Thank you! . I have almost a gallon of latex Kilz left over from another project. Would the kilz do the same thing as the bin 123 for the walls? I sanded them and they are still in bad shape.

THANK YOU! They have had so many different wallpapering over the years and removed. The walls are spackled all over to cover the imperfections from removing the paper. Sorry I do not have pictures. I will probably have to spackle and sand again Thank you for the information. I will use the kilz before I paint.

Do you have any suggestions as to what color to paint the walls. The cabinets are bright white with white tile between and white tile on the floor. The countertops are Wilsonart hd Bianco Romano. The appliances and sink are black and stainless. The cabinet handles are brushed nickel look.

How's the lighting any natural light ? How much wall space do you have ?

I only have 1 window. The kitchen is in the back of the house. The kitchen has wall to wall cabinets, but the cabinets do not go up to the ceiling. I have the space above the cabinets, over the bar, a small strip beside the refrigerator and oven

I would look at white it's boring but an all white and black kitchen can be sophisticated

Maybe a pale gray, just to add a little contrast with the cabinets but still keep in the black and white palette.
