Can this fixture be hung as a flush mounted light?

I am replacing a ceiling fan that hangs over a dining table. I have 8 ft ceilings and don't want it to hang too low. What would be the minimum ceiling to bottom of fixture measure?

    This fixture is not dual mount, but it does not have to be hung by the chain and can be hung by the large top loop on the chandelier. Thank you for your interest in Vaxcel products.
