My apple trees seem to be in rough shape. They are all young and susceptible to CAR which I have eliminated by spraying immunox during the spring. The trees were flourishing through the summer. Only one tree was bearing fruit the Gala tree... I noticed holes in the fruit it appeared that maybe a bird was pecking holes in them. Then I noticed black spots appearing on fruit and leaves of both the gala and honey crisp. They have each lost a good amount of leaves already and the Gala is dropping its fruit also. I am not too concerned about the fruit cause it only had a couple dozen and they were mostly ruined by the birds anyway. I just want to make sure I can identify the problem so I know how to deal with it next year. Please take a look at the photos and let me know your thoughts.
