Small bathroom make over

We just moved to a new house and the on suite bathroom looks like this:
We would like to put in a steam shower, get rid of the bathtub and increase storage and vanity space. Suggestions welcome! How should we lay it out? Should we tile the wall and put the steam unit in the wall or get a pre made insert? What is the best way to maximize this space?
