Of course, dear hubby is looking over my shoulder and claiming he can make one just like it with super glue. That's why he isn't allowed in my dahlia beds.

! I haven't seen any in my garden yet this year. It's pretty neat to see variations on the standard single bloom. (Now I'll be checking for glue drips, if I DO see any.)

Saw my first fasciation this year in the garden...just a double-faced bloom on one stem. My hubby pointed it out, and I made sure he wasn't pulling my leg with super glue before congratulating him on the sighting. Didn't even think to take a pict. Gave it to a lady the next day, who was enamored with it.
