Are you just thinking about potting up using about the same kind of mix?

I agree that you shouldn't bring it inside and repot it at the same time, but I don't think you should wait for spring to repot it either. When it is time to repot, it is time to repot. So bring it in and give it some time to adjust then repot it.

If your tree is very healthy from growing outside, I am sure no matter what you do with it it will respond just fine as long as you provide great conditions for it for a fast recoup, if that makes sense...It is all dependent on how you treat your tree.....What kind of mix do you plan on using verses what you have?

Many here are still ordering bare rooted trees and pot them up and they do just fine like I said as long as you give your tree plenty of warmth water and light...Will you leave it out longer ?

I'm gonna put it in miracle grow citrus for now. A lot of the 5-1-1 mix items are getting harder to find since it's basically fall. I don't plan on leaving it outside probably longer than this weekend. We're getting into the 40s at night now and only about 60 on a nice day.

I took a shelving system from my old greenhouse and lined it with the metallic insulation to make a grow tent in a way. Gonna mount some lights on the shelves and bring it inside

If re-potting is done correctly, so as not to damage the root system, you can repot every month of the year, even every day of the year.

If his tree is root bound, would he still be able to repot without disturbing the roots? It would be great if he didn't need to, I've read from some sites that not disturbing the root ball is also effective during repotting but I lack the experience to know for sure

From what I've read, and correct me if I'm wrong everyone, but I'm going to wash away all of the old material from the root ball and then repot with all new material
