Might as simple a solution as this work for you. Add a bit of architectural trim to the windows, and paint that, the roofline (fascia or gutter, I'm not sure) and the door to add colour. The first below has the traditional terracotta that works so well with your colour (often paired with grey), but I rather like the teal option below, too. And the front door archway seems to me to be begging for a medallion of some sort.

Not sure about painting the door, actually. It looks so good as is. But maybe.

I was thinking of a decorative piece above archway but am not sure where to go for that. I like the idea of adding color around the windows. Currently the trim on house is cement. I'm not sure if that can be painted?

It actually looks pretty good to me... a quick fix may be to add some colour in terms of plants in pots. e.g. geraniums or bougainvillea or just green plants in colourful pots... if that doesn't jazz it up, paint the door.

I think it looks fine as is. I would not add anything above the arch, and definitely would not paint the concrete trim.

I love my iron double doors as they are. I was also thinking maybe a pendant light in the porch, a different fountain, different garage doors, and yes planters. However, the shape of our driveway prevents us from putting large, beautiful planters in front of archway pillars. Where else would you suggest placing the planters?

Well, the green grass patch between the driveway and road is pretty uninspiring! How about some lush & colourful landscaping to match what looks like a tropical kind of place?

I think what you might have on your hands is a "happy accident" with the ivory color because your elegant ironworks door dictates a more antique-feel to your house and a whiter choice would be wrong. The gray concrete trim, slate walkway and fountain look better with the ivory than they would white.
Live with it at least for awhile. Meanwhile turn your attention to the foundation shrubs - either trimmed way back, remove some, replace some, and add color with plantings or planters with seasonal flowers.

remove the lawn and do more of the xeriscape w/native plants. cover the ground w/DG and plant a variety of colorful plants/flowers. your house will transform with just the landscaping. It's a beautiful spot.

Your house looks good. It's the drab lawn that is drawing the eye. Some people gave you good advice for landscaping, so you should listen to that. Color in the plants. Color color color.

That poor pice of grass is usually a beautiful green. There is another patch on the other side of my car (should've moved the car). Should that one stay green or different landscape as well?

you could try keeping that one. it's not so much the green color, it's the blah layout of the middle one. Take a look at some of the Mediterranean or spanish style exteriors here on Houzz and get some ideas. Color is very big in this style. plants with vibrant hues would go a long way to help your exterior. What is the large tree next to your entry?

I agree, don't paint the door, find a cool hanging light and trim back the shrubs.

That is a magnolia tree. There is one near the other window as well. They are beautiful when they flower but doesn't last very long. In Arizona it's hard to keep plants colorful. I have always wanted more color. There is a Bougainvillea on side of garage and a pretty bush that has pretty lavender flowers in the spring.

come November, give that Magnolia tree a good pruning. it overpowers the front.

you need more native flowering plants. in that middlessection I would do a palo verde tree or a mesquite tree. Then I'd do some boulders and rocks, mix in some agave and assorted succulents, some Spanish Lavender, and the orange flowering succulent that I can't remember the name of! Throw in a few blue and yellow glazed ceramic containers for some more color.

You already have the irrigation in place and can switch it to the drip irrigation. All of these plants are low water, low maintenance and look great all year round. these are all succulents and will do great in your spot. they do need more water than cactus.

these are both in AZ. can't get much more colorful!

red aloe. plant these in the mustard or blue color pots.

You can always stain the concrete because the gray of the concrete looks unfinished.

Tucson. I love all the plants you posted. The color variations are beautiful. I hope I can find someone who can put it all together. I even have my husband excited about the change.

AR,,,good! I think you'll be amazed at how it transforms the space. The DG is decomposed granite. Agave and other choice will look great mixed in among some others. maybe do a dry creek bed design.

We did one to our rental house. I pulled and took a bunch of cuttings from my yard and my neighbors yard and planted them. The boulders came from the foothills. I actually could have planted a bit more, but it has since grown in quite a bit. this was a few years ago

the firestick and echeveria cuttings I literally just stuck in the ground. You prob won't even have to buy any of these. just break them off large clusters or ask neighbors for cuttings.

some of the plants here:dracaena, agave, lavender, flax, firestick (tall one in the back) opuntia, snake plant and various succulents.

these, along w/the palo verde tree, mixed in w/the colorful pots, would be nice in the center. You could do the black mulch, some Arizona flag stone, and mexican pebbles for a little variation.

If you do take up the grass, make sure you spray a grass/weed killer on it 2 weeks prior. after pulling it up, grade the soil, make some berms if you want, and lay down the landscape cover before putting down the DG.

btw,,,I also have the spanish type home and chose to use the saltillo and talavera tile on my back patio and my front courtyard area. I think if you stained your concrete columns and tiled the front walk way, it would instill a bit of color to the area.

we did all of this ourselves, including the pond. I'd love to stucco the wall, but it's so much work!

The paint is great really! Suits the house. Do NOT get a mesquite tree unless you have a lot of tolerance for messy plants with thorns. Also, they are very prone to storm damage as they grow super fast and have shallow roots. Really, there are better choices out there, IMO. Do keep in mind the amount of plant litter that will fall into the gravel and need cleaned up. Here is a link to some water wise plants for AZ, http://www.amwua.org/plants/.

How big is the area where a tile medallion would go? You might have one custom made. Most on Houzz are for floor application and yours would need to hang and tolerate climate conditions.

It might be tricky, but all the gray concrete could be stained a deep hacienda wood color. It just looks unfinished as it is. How about a fabulous water feature out front?

I don't think it's bland. Lots of good advice here. If you decide not to stain the concrete I would repaint the house in a pure white. A dazzling white stucco to showcase some bougainvillea!

Since you already have 3 car garages, I would remove the curved driveway and replace it with a colorful tiled front courtyard and new landscaping.
