So I live in Syracuse NY and yes, I have a grapefruit tree.... This summer after I took it outside, it really flourished. At first, it really filled out with leaves and grew taller. I think I may have overdone the watering, however as the leaves all started turning yellow and started dropping. I eased up, but the damage was done and everyday it loses more leaves... Any advice on this would be helpful. But the main reason I'm posting today is that soon I will have to take the tree inside again and return it to my living room under grow-lights. But it has gotten too tall for my house... Can I cut the top off so that I can get it inside or has my tree simply outgrown it's habitat up here?
