How many do you need to seat?

A picture of the kitchen would help people think in terms of actual tables and styles. I agree a round table.

So, would you mind pairing a white tablewith the dark furniture you have in that area? I wouldn't go too rustic.

This Ikea table is rather nice, if its white matches with your kitchen white. I'd suggest a solid-backed chair, so as not to fight with your rather fun ornate counter chairs.

I was musing on the colour of the chairs in the back of my mind. I was thinking dark chairs with white cushions might work well. Or dark legs, at least. More interesting than all white, even with a very plain chair.

Wayfair...It's called "Riverdale", and there are many like it I think the trestle base is good for your space. I am not liking the chairs though.

This table is in a higher price range, but beautiful!
