I'm not quite clear what your question is. Is it normal in your region for blueberries to have no leaves at this time of year? If so, and the bush is going into dormancy, I don't see what the concern is as long as you have thoroughly watered the transplant. If defoliation isn't normal all you can do is wait and see how it behaves next spring. At this time of year you would expect viable buds but not breaking buds.

So just to confirm what I think you are saying:

You planted the blueberry in alkaline soil. It wasn't happy dropped all its leaves and you are now putting it into a pot with a more acidic mix.

If I am right then it probably just needs some time to recover before you are going to see growth. It's going through shock from being in an alkaline soil and you transplanting it into a more acidic soil. Make sure you keep it watered normally and hope for the best!

Edit: one further question: Did you bare root the plant (wash the soil off the roots) or just dig it out and repot it?
