Windowless bedroom is too dark

I have a windowless bedroom with bamboo honey colored floors and honey colored wood furniture (dresser & nightstand.) The walls are currently painted with Farrow & Ball Parma Gray but it's too dark. I want the room to be brighter. I'm probably going to buy new furniture as the room feels so heavy and dense with all that wood. The rest of my apartment is painted in BM Classic Gray (which I love) and one accent wall in Farrow & Ball Plummet. The rest of the apartment is filled with natural light as it's a loft. I love BM Classic Gray, but want something different in the bedroom. I want to stay away from undertones in blue, green, pink or taupe. Any suggestions for what to paint the walls?

White. go for a bohemian chic in white type of look. The only thing thats going to brighten it up is white and extra lighting.

It is illeagal to have a bedroomwithout windows so not sure what kind of place you are in.

I live in a condo in Brooklyn, NY that was converted into condos in 2007 from the former Board of Education building built in 1928. It's not considered a proper "1 bedroom," because there are no windows. It's called a studio loft with an office as an office doesn't require a window, but almost everyone who lives in the building uses the "office" as the bedroom.

The only thing that will brighten it is ELECTRICITY. Period. You'd be better off changing the decor to go with dramatically dark walls, and blindingly white linens on the bed. Recessed lighting, lamps, art,......mirror!! and decor will lift the room from the doldrums.

White walls are usually a fail unless enhanced with great daylight. All you will get is blah.....and a dingy look to the walls most of the time. Take a peek in a white closet.....: )

I like a white that has some yellow to it, as that adds the feel of sunshine. I used to use a Valspar color called "Nightlight," but I'm sure you could find something similar in other paints.
