love the vanities. the armoire however really screams 'country 1980's' to me. i'm sure someone on here will have a really clever idea of how to make it gorgeous, but to me they don't belong in the same room together. sorry -- i know that's not what you wanted to hear.

Put the same hardware on both and stain/paint the insets of the amoire the cherry color of the vanities. Then they will work together.

Like the above ideas but not sure about paint color. I'd probably remove the doors and paint the outside high gloss white and the inside a color that complements your walls, such as royal blue. Storing with white towels would look kinda snazzy.

black realy works and it blends with just about any decor. white doesn't work because the vanity is cherry and more tradtional that was my first thought too..white, but not with the vanity.

Thank you, traditional is what I'm looking to accomplish. Should I just wash the entire unit with a cherry color finish? Or perhaps just the doors? I will change the knobs, these are really dated. By the way, the paint color in this room is Benjamin Moore light latte color, the tile is 18x18 stone finish with a travertine effect. Faucet will be stainless finish. Thank you.

I would ensure all 3 cupboards are the same colour and the hardware the same. Cupboards should be darker then the walls. I would take the top doors off the armoire and paint the internal walls ad the shelf a darker shade of your walls and stack your towels in there. Keep the bottom doors on the armoire

If you can get the cherry stain to match the vanities exactly, I think the cherry stain will work. However, I would get a pro to do this, as it will be difficult.

I like Christine's idea of painting it black. The cherry in the vanities is dark and has a lot of black in it. If you want, you could get a paint store to match the vanities and paint the insets of the amoire cherry.

You could bring it all together by using black and cherry elsewhere in the room. For example, you could have a black-framed mirrors with cherry accents or vice versa.
