Such a clever idea! Did you use custom or standard size frames, and if the latter, what size? What were the dimensions of the overall opening you covered?

Hi, I used one inch thick frames so that when we screwed them together we had some substantial wood to get a good hold for the hinges. I have not seen any ready made frames that have this dimension. The opening was approx. 48x27. Good Luck with your project! Gina

I understand how you did the hinges, but I am intrigued as to how the are attached to the wall and if the frame slides back at all? Lastly, was the tv a thin frame as
it looks like the whole thing is only about 3-4" out from the wall when closed. I would love to pay you (or a member of your team) to come and create this for our new home.

The TV was recessed into the wall about 5", just until we hit the brick in the wall! Gina
