Hello! We're in the planning stages of our reno and would love your feedback on our mudroom. There are 2 different options for the bench wall attached (A & B).

We are a family of 4: me, DH, toddler and infant.

My initial thoughts:

1) rotate door swing so it opens into garage. We have this currently and it works well for us.

2) shrink drop zone to a bank of 36" drawers or 2 banks of 18" drawers and increase length of bench area.

3) how deep should a bench be? Would 18" be sufficient?

4) swap drawer under bench for roll out tray to store shoes.

5) I plan on putting a mirror above dropzone. Would sconces be too much?
