Find a local cabinet maker. They will make you anything you want and probably for less than you could buy it elsewhere. What they are is very good and inexpensive. What they are not is speedy.

i just dont know about custom for less than $2k after hardware and finishes coming out correctly not to mention i have no idea what design i actually want.

Look at stock or semi-custom cabinetry in places like Home Depot or Kitchen remodeling centers. They could put together something that would fit - it would essentially be lower cabinets - but you could have drawers, etc. Did your remodeling include your kitchen? You could match your cabinets or use a complimentary look like your island. Since your kitchen is so open to the area, repeating the theme could create a nice flow, imo.
