Lightly freeze it first. Fill the bag and set them upright in the freezer in a container of some sort. Once the liquid is pretty well frozen you can then vacuum and seal the bags.

That is a fantastic tip! I freeze raspberries, sliced pepper, etc. on a cookie sheet and then put in bags so they don't stick together. I had not thought about freezing wet packages and then vacuum sealing.

I do the same when vacuum sealing meat to keep the blood and meat juices from being sucked into the sealer.

Same here: package, freeze, seal.
