I think a fair discount would be the approx. cost of the replacement panel/installation, which might not be much; could depend on where you live. I'd say... $250? If they think that's too much, well, then they can just send someone out to replace it.

We had a kitchenaid built-in installed (probably about 12 years ago). One door was slightly crooked. It took 11 visits from different repair-people and they sent multiple new doors (which always arrived dinged and dented) before it finally was fixed..... So, I can see why you'd rather take the discount payment than have it fixed.

My rough guess, since is not very obvious, is 10%. Actually, I can hardly see it in the photo, it is possible it is more visible in person. If it was on the front of the unit, or more obvious, I agree with Mrs. S that you would want to price the cost to repair.

Or consider negotiating an additional warranty or some other item from the store. There might be more trade value in that rather than a straight dollar amount. But this works only if you want what you negotiate.

The simple cost of pick up and delivery can exceed $200. I would add another $150 -$200 to that.

A scratch and dent store would sell that refrigerator with about a $400 - $500 discount
