We don't know how extensive your project might become. I'd start with a landscape architect since you're talking about hardscape changes. A design-build general contractor may be able to handle your project. House remodeling seems dependent on what happens outdoors so I'd focus on narrowing that down in order to know what the architectural needs might become

"We would like drawings of several ideas to choose from." I'm sure you don't mean that you would like alternative plans developed as this would be expensive and wasteful. In the normal design process, in additional to analysis of the existing conditions, there is brainstorming within the parameters of your goals and objectives. In this early phase, ideas may be sorted through and the direction of the design is determined so wasted effort is minimized. Occasionally, there may be two ideas that compete for a time, but eventually one will win out because it solves the most problems in the best ways. There is no point in having an alternative choice late in the game that is less good, unless you are developing a museum of 'less good ideas.' The architect/landscape architect/designer will be working on figuring the best ideas and solutions and not wasting time bringing along lesser solutions.
