I personally would go with the finish that is close to the sconces.

yes, the more I look at it , I think you might be right .

    Thin frame ??

You have my color my color scheme exactly- my bathroom is just a bit more modern. I agree with gracie and would just look for the mirror I liked best without any preconceived notions about width of frame. Your bathroom is lovely. I love white marble bathrooms :-)

I'd mirror the entire wall and put the sconces on top.

oh, seeing your fur rug choice, and that gorgeous marble..my thoughts go to something like a venetian mirror..can be more elaborate or more simple, rounded a bit oval or rectangle..what unifies them though-the frame is made out of mirror as well

ok , I put this mirror in there, from an upstairs bathroom , mostly to look at size. It is a white washed wood frame but it does let me look at light colored frame vs. darker (like the floor.)

What do the experts say ?

I think it's too rustic for your space. Normally, I'm all for mixing and matching..but that's taking it a bit too far thus reads more artificial than carefree..

PS I'm not an expert I just love houses and to talk about them:)

No I don't think wood, light or dark, is best. White or metallic?

Love your bathroom. Not sure how tall your ceilings are? But I went through something similar and ordered two of the below largest size. But once they arrived they were just not tall enough so used them in an upstairs guest bathroom where the ceilings are lower than downstairs.

But I had to have some made for the master, so if you are like me and can't find some tall enough for your ceiling height, it may be worth having them custom made. I had some simple white frames made to match my cabinets and using the same paint may be worth looking into. Otherwise, I would vote on frameless or slim metal frame that match you sconces would be very pretty in my opinion.

I think tall rectangle without frame or silver. White frame makes it more casual looking to me.

I like that size, and I'd do either a metal tone (my preference, textured) or probably a white, although I think I could see a very refined walnut working, but bringing a rather different feel.

bathroom ceiling height is 9 feet. I do have some left over flooring (walnut) that I could use to have 2 frames made for mirrors.

I'm not sure how nice wood flooring boards would be as a mirror frame, but the bigger deal is the dark frame -- you have to decide if you want to stay classical or are looking for a modern edge.

I wouldn't tie in the warm floor color, especially with cool gray tops and walls.

Thank you everyone , for your suggestions ! acm , I really appreciate the visual that you posted ! I DO NOT want modern at all ! I have seen frameless mirrors, white wood frame, , polished nickel frame and darker wood frame. I just want classic , traditional , unfussy, non glitzy , mirrors that serve a purpose and are not modern looking . My eyeballs just don't connect to my brain when it comes to choosing this stuff. I know it when I see it , I think , but geeezzzz it's hard !

I personally would love to see that entire wall in mirror. What you have so far is so nice; I think two separate mirrors would look too unfinished or cheap.

I like the big, covers-the-wall mirrors in this small space. It will make it all appear larger.

The room isn't small at all really, plus I already have light fixtures up there. How could I put a wall of mirror ?

Like this picture. You can have holes cut in the mirror for the sconces and frame the mirror if you want. It just looks less chopped up than two mirrors and three wall spaces with three sconces. If you had splash marble or tile or wallpaper I would go with two mirrors to show it off, but you don't.

Very nice bathroom! I'm not a big fan of walls of mirrors because I don't like cleaning them and also, after a certain age, mirrors can be a little daunting :-). I like the frameless ones. Wondering how your sconces might look turned upward.
