I'd say: look for another sofa... if that one sofa is really beige it will bite the grey (and the other way around). You sure it's not just off-white?

I would take a cushion of each sofa to the rug store and see what you can find that uses both colors.

Then get them as far apart from each other as possible! Put a table in between that usurps all the attention.

I would go for a rather colorful rug and throw pillows in that same color (or those same colors) on both sofas as to trick people's minds in believing it somehow belongs together.

Look for a rug that has both colors in it, either just beige and gray, or multi-colored.
